Renewed as Microsoft MVP for another year
Besides the fact that July 1st is the end of Fiscal year for Microsoft, it also makes important date for all current Microsoft MVPs. That is the date when existing MVPs are re-awarded or not. There are approx. 3100 MVPs with current 2018-2019 Award, and that number will slightly grow during the year because of monthly award cycle for new MVPs. 383 of those MVPs are in Office Servers and Services, and 33 in Office Development category. Detailed report you can find in this article by Patrick Guimonet: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/2018-mvp-renewal-patrick-guimonet/?published=t and accompanying PowerBI report.
I’m honored to announce that I’ve been renewed again in this award cycle in Office Servers and Services category. In addition to that, I’ve been awarded as Office Development MVP for the first time. List of my public MVP activities you can find on my MVP Profile. ### Looking back at 2017/18
Looking at last 12 months, my community activities are mostly related to conferences. I presented at several SharePoint Saturday conferences across Europe, local (MSNetWork in Bosnia&Herzegovina, Advanced Technology Days in Croatia) and regional events (SharePoint Unite and European Collaboration Summit). For the first time, I presented on User Group in Frankfurt, and I was part of Insider Dev Tour in Sarajevo. “My” technology presentations were almost exclusively related to Microsoft Graph, with additional topics like Planner, Azure Functions and Microsoft Flow. I also contributed to several OSS projects on GitHub either by code fixes or by fixing errors in documentation. ### Plan for 2018/19
In next year, I also expect to attend and present at several conferences, user group meetings. I already have confirmed sessions for SharePoint Saturday Stockholm on September 1s t http://www.spsevents.org/city/Stockholm/Stockholm2018/home , and Thrive Conference in Slovenia in December http://www.thriveconf.com . I also plan to blog more, as I did not wrote so regularly and with quality content as I would like to. I also want to learn some new things, and I hope that I will be able to share with you my experiences along this path as/when it happens.
